Homemade Baby Peas

So last week McKenna had her first food and it was Baby Oat Cereal. She’s had some every few days and really enjoyed it, So this week she got to try peas! And wowie she loved it!

What You Need:

  1. Blender (Or Food Processor)
  2. 1 Container (To hold left overs)
  3. 4 ounces of peas
  4. 2 ounces of breastmilk (of formula)
  5. Sauce Pan
  6. Bowl, Spoon, Bib
  7. and the Baby!

 What To Do:

  1. Put peas in sauce pan with water and heat until peas are hot.
   2. Drain water from peas and place 4 ounces in blender.
   3. Add 2 ounces of Breastmilk (or formula)

Blend and Pour into baby’s dish!

  2. Exciting! I haven’t tried peas yet. Were they fresh, frozen, from a can? They look just as easy to make as the carrots and sweet potatoes I’ve tried so far.

    Cute picture timeline! Isn’t it a challenge feeding and taking pictures at the same time!? My iPhone always ends up with food on it that I find hours later all crusted on it!

    • Ooooo Sweet Potatoes will be our next venture! I already bought it even, just waiting for her to poo lol.

      These peas were from a can, only because thats what we already had (Id much prefer fresh if possible). And ya it was super easy!

      Oh my goodness YES pictures and feeding are quite the ordeal in itself lol but so worth it!
